Karli is an Associate Attorney with Sommer & O’Donnell, L.L.C., whose primary focus is family law. Prior to earning her law license, Karli worked for Griffie & Associates, P.C. as a law clerk under the mentorship of Bradley L. Griffie, Esquire, and became an Associate upon earning her law license. In Fall 2025, Karli joined the Sommer & O’Donnell team, and she is excited to continue serving families through her legal work.

Karli understands that every family is different and that the legal counsel offered to each should be carefully and intentionally tailored to assist with that family’s personal transition to their new normal. Her practice of law prioritizes empathy, diligence, and relentless advocacy with the purpose of achieving the best result possible for her clients, no matter the circumstances that led to their need for representation.

Karli is originally from Woodbridge, New Jersey, and was raised by a single mother, whose resilience and career as a special education teacher inspired Karli from an early age to pursue a career that would assist people, and especially children, during life’s difficult periods. Prior to entering the practice of law, Karli graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University with a degree in Sociology.

Karli relocated to south-central Pennsylvania after being admitted into Penn State Dickinson Law, located in Carlisle. Her time throughout law school reinforced her ambition to cultivate a career that would allow her to make a difference. Karli worked within Dickinson’s Children’s Advocacy Clinic, where she assisted as a Certified Legal Intern in the representation of dependent children throughout Cumberland County. In 2022, she graduated from Penn State Dickinson Law with her Juris Doctorate, a Certificate in Family Law & Children’s Advocacy, and was named the recipient of the clinic’s student award.

For the Fall 2025 semester, Karli began working as an adjunct professor at the clinic to assist current students in their own development as spirited advocates. Following graduation, Karli decided to remain in Carlisle after falling in love with its charm and community. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her beloved cat, Ralphie. Her time at her undergraduate institution was characterized by philanthropy through her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, and her internship through Within Your Reach, Inc., an organization dedicated to assisting survivors of domestic and sexual violence. She is currently on the Board of Directors of Community CARES, an organization dedicated to assisting those experiencing homelessness in Cumberland County and is the Vice-Chair of the Cumberland County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
